HG Systems' main focus for many years was Primary Steel Production and Secondary Steel Processing. We have an extensive installed base both in the UK and overseas and continue to provide systems to major users either directly or indirectly via Specialist Main Contractors.
In recent years, in addition to the Steel Industry, HG Systems’ has turned its attention to the Aluminium Industry with considerable success. Our in-depth knowledge and understanding of primary Steel processing control system requirements has been an important factor in enabling HG Systems’ to establish relationships with many of the major Aluminium producing companies.
To service increased production output based on the predicated forecasts in demand for Aluminium globally, a significant number of existing Primary production Smelting Facilities must be upgraded and/or expanded. In addition new, larger Primary Production Smelting Facilities must be built. HG Systems’ identified the increased potential for Systems Integration and successfully targeted a number of major business opportunities. As a result of our success we now have installed bases throughout Europe and the Middle East.
